BAKED FISH FILLETS WITH MUSHROOMS Print

Ingredients:1/2 kilo fresh or frozen fish fillets
1 1/2 cups mushrooms
1 cup sliced green onions
1/4 tsp crushed tarragon or thyme
2 Tbsp butter
Instructions:1. Rinse the fish and pat dry with paper towels.
2. Cut the green onions.
3. Cut the fish into 4 pieces. Sprinkle with salt.
4. Arrange fish on a square baking dish.
5. In a mall frying pan, melt the butter and add the mushrooms and green onions. Saute until soft.
6. Spoon mixture over fish and sprinkle with tarragon.
7. Bake at 450 F for 15 minutes or until fish is done (if it flakes easily, it is done).
Notes:If you don't like the taste of tarragon, skip it and just sprinkle lemon juice over the fish.
