NUTS N’ ROSES Print

Ingredients:350 gms unsalted cashews or almonds
125 gms sugar, to taste
4 Tbsp rosewater or 1 Tbsp almond essence
zest of 1 lemon, in long shreds
water
Instructions:Put the nuts in a jug and cover with 500 ml water (2 Cups).
Cover and soak overnight in the ref.
Next day, put the nuts and soaking water in a blender.
Add 500 ml water and blender till smooth.
Strain well. Return the nuts through the blender with 1 litre of water (4 Cups)
and blender, then strain again.
Stir in the sugar and rosewater /or essence into the milk and chill.
Serve cold with zests.
